Senior Software Engineer Job Type: Full-Time Experience: 5–8 Years Location: Vadodara / Remote Department: Engineering About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications and will work closely with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other developers. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code. Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party services. Perform code reviews and contribute to technical design decisions. Identify and resolve performance, reliability, and production issues. Write unit and integration tests to ensure application quality. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Mentor junior developers and support knowledge-sharing initiatives. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices. Required Skills 5+ years of professional software development experience. Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript. Experience with React.js / Next.js. Good understanding of Node.js and REST APIs. Experience with SQL and relational databases. Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. Good problem-solving and communication skills. Nice to Have Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of automated testing frameworks. Experience working with AI/ML-powered applications. Experience with microservices architecture. Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
